Bruce Burns, the original owner & manager, began employment in August 1958 in Mobile, Alabama with one of the major worldwide dewatering companies in the United States. He started as a laborer in the yard and became the most recognized dewatering expert in the region. He participated in dewatering some of the largest projects in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisana, & Texas and had the opportunity to gain a unique experience in dewatering of a wide variety of soil conditions. Since 2001 he has been passing his wealth of knowledge on to his successor.
Burns Dewatering Services was incorporated in Alabama in April 1990. Mr. Burns passed away and moved on to our Lord in April 2010. Mr. Burns' legacy is carried on by a new and active partner with the purpose of maintaining Mr. Burns' level of service and expanding the potential for Burns Dewatering Services in other pumping applications.
Our services include fabrication, rental, and sale of dewatering and pumping equipment which is used in the construction industry, various government projects, industrial plants, etc.
