Bruce Burns, owner & manager, began employment in August 1958 in Mobile, Alabama with one of the major worldwide dewatering companies in the United States. He started as a laborer in the yard and has today become the most recognized dewatering expert in the region. He participated in dewatering some of the largest projects in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisana, & Texas and had the opportunity to gain a unique experience in dewatering of a wide variety of soil conditions.

When the company he was employed by closed the Mobile facility in 1990 he joined with a partner and formed Burns Dewatering Services, Inc. Burns Dewatering Services was incorporated in Alabama in April 1990. Not long after, Mr. Burns became the sole share holder with the intentions of providing the best service available. Mr. Burns is today joined by a new and active partner with the purpose of maintaining Mr. Burns' level of service and expanding the potential for Burns Dewatering Services in other pumping applications.

Our services include fabrication, rental and sale of dewatering & pumping equipment which is used in the construction industry, various government projects, industrial plants, etc.
